What to do with the wedding decor after the ceremony?
That is one questions that I have been asking myself lately. We have bought 40 tealight holders and tealights, we are NEVER gonna need that many tealights after the reception! Our house would be covered from head to toe with red and orange tealight holders!
I've found this site: weddingbells.ca and they have an online forum where you can sell things to brides across canada. I'm thinking this may be a good idea to get rid of some of the things that we've accumulated to make the reception beautiful. Just wondering if it's worth the hassle? Have other brides out there sold their objects from their receptions? If so, was it easy/worth it?

So, I created a spreadsheet with all of the money that we have spent so far on our wedding, and I'm pretty proud of myself! I'm being really organised about this whole wedding, and I think it will aleviate alot of un-necessary stress from my life. Who knows, maybe it will be a new career path for me, wedding organiser! ;)
On the other hand, I have been considering hiring a wedding coordinator for the day of the wedding. But they are so expensive! It's a big chunk of cash to shell out for their services, but I do think that it would be valuable. All of the decorators in my area, well, I have only one word: TACKY! They decorate weddings like we are still in the 70's! I mean, I know some people still like that look, but it's just not for me. So a Wedding Coordinator would probably be my best bet, since I would still get all of the things that I want to decorate the hall with, they just execute it. I would have to meet with someone soon to see what the benefits are and if it's worth the cash. Decisions decisions!!!

Wedding Nightmares
Over the past few weeks, i have not been getting my full 8 hours of sleep, and it's due to nightmares. But not your typical theres someone chasing me or theres' a monster trying to eat my shoes, it's been about our wedding. About everything that can go wrong going wrong on the wedding day. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??? It's so strange! The wedding is 10 months away, and I'm already dreaming about this stuff?
In more than one of my dreams, it's been the day of the wedding, and i have no decorations ready, and ihave to scramble and get everything done within a few hours of the ceremony! Once, there were no flowers, no candles, no favours, NOTHING!!! And then another time, it was the day of the wedding, and I haden't made the reservations for everyone to stay at the hotel where the reception will be! GULP!!!
Maybe it's time I start a list of things to do :)

So, I tried on dresses this weekend with most of my wedding party and my mother and my future MIL, and I had a blast!!! I never knew how much fun this was gonna be! I loved all of the dresses i tried on, to my great surprise!
While looking through wedding magazines and looking at the dresses, i would stop on the ones that were really "Princessy" and say to myself: There is no way I'm gonna get a dress like that. I like to think of myself as a low-maintenance girl who is down to earth and not too into her looks. But i tried on one of those "Princessy" dresses and just about died: it looked amazing!!!!!! I was in so much shock and still am, i just can't believe that i just fell in love with it! It looks beautiful on me, who woulda thnuk it? :)
I still have lots of dresses to try on, but i definetly found a few contenders this weekend.
